Working on behalf of a highly reputable Financial Advisers, we are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team


The Company

Our client are committed to giving a bespoke, personal service tailored to the specific needs of each individual as in our experience, every client has unique personal concerns, responsibilities and ambitions. Recommendations are made following face-to-face discussions with clients to help them achieve their financial objectives. The level of satisfaction may be judged by the fact that most of our new clients are as a result of personal recommendation by existing clients. The company had 2 sides to the business, one for IFA support, and one as an SJP Practice, which is the side of the business the Paraplanner will be supporting.


As Paraplanner, you will be reporting to the Practice Manager, responsible for creating suitability reports. Other duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assimilate and segregate information gathered by the adviser on the CFR
  • Liaise with the Adviser as appropriate to fill any information gaps
  • Collate ceding scheme information to ascertain all present and appropriately dated
  • Work within, and stay up to date with template changes
  • Maintain quality documentation by paying attention to detail
  • Work within the constraints of templates using APTUS
  • Stay abreast of legislative changes
  • Liaise with Head Office admin centres
  • Use checklists to ensure quality of documentation


To be considered for the role, you will have a background with pensions, and ideally have at least 3 years’ experience. Preferably you will be diploma qualified, or working towards.


You will have the ability to balance conflicting demands in a calm and friendly manner, able to work autonomously and remotely, whilst being analytical
