Clark James Insurance Recruitment have a vacancy with a really friendly Insurance broker who just moved to a lovely new office at Clapham Juntion. They are seeking a new Insurance Account Handler to join their growing office which offers excellent facilities for the staff who are very loyal. The role is fully office based Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of three years of experience dealing with commercial or Personal Lines clients giving appropriate advice and a quality service in connection with renewals, new business and mid-term adjustments, whilst having regard to treating customers fairly and in accordance with regulatory obligations, upholding a professional image, and maximising business opportunities and profit for the company. They will also consider an Underwriter looking to move to broking.
Excellent customer service and organisational skills are paramount, along with good communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
Ideally you will have some CII certification but this isn’t essential as long as you have a good level of Insurance broking or underwriting experience.
